Hi, I was a member before the mboard switchover, just now making it back.
I am trying to help a relative find a 'first' computer, laptop preferably very cheap and really nothing special. I am looking at IBM's seeing as how it would be used and their reputation. I found retrobox.com and they have some exceptional deals compared to other sites. It scares me a little so I am looking for anyone who has had experience with these people in the past. If you have had any form of transaction with this site please let me know how it went.

yes thank you for the quick reply. I should have noted I checked out resellerratings, the rating there is comforting but seeing as how they only have had 1 person rate them I figured word of mouth was worth checking too.
