i bought two 2600xt and i read the reviews says this card is compareble to the 8600 even 8800gt and i got it at a real real low price also

how much better is this card over the x800?

i have the 3850 on order if this card works good i might cancle the order since i will be building a new system in a year

that card is indeed better than the x800, but comparing that card with the 8800GT, hahaha, that´s just funny

Yeah it wont come anywhere near the 8800 GT. Probably puts up a fight with the 8600GT I'm sure though, since thats about half the speed of an 8800 GT.

ok i need some help now

i just installed the card and because i ran out of the 4 pin power plug i didn't use the spliter instead i used the 6 pin pci-e plug it works fine but now windows hardware device shows i have a pci device in yellow "!" and i have no pci device in there any suggestion? is it the driver that cost this?

you should start another thread about that

The pci device is your card having hdmi built into it. If you install the hdmi drivers it should go away.

thax it did go away and i just got my first blue screen crash and reboot by itself
man i wonder if there is differnt driver i can try or should i just use the disk driver?
i went to the ati website they only have the pci-e version not the agp i got my current
