exchange backup on remote windows box?

i am at a company and we are hosting our own exchange server..

i just wanted to know if there was a way of hosting a 2nd exchange server and linking the two together so we could take one down for maintenace or whatever and not lose our e-mail capabilities..

we have a windows based web host, or could possibly put a server at a 2nd location..

You should look into clustering. That's what most companies use.

If you can't do clustering, then Neverfail has a software based system that would work.

Neverfail doesn't require a shared storage unit like clustering. It's not 100% uptime, but it will be as close as you can get.
