EVGA 690

Lol.. is it worth it? It depends on a million factors.. what resolution are you gaming at? Are you thinking of upgrading that in the future?

You also will need to look into possibly needing to upgrade your psu and your cpu/mobo to not bottleneck the 690.

It's a much more difficult answer than just yes or no
 
A single 670 (at $600 less than a 690) would probably be fine for that 930@3.99 system, if you're already getting along with a 460. (Or maybe OP meant 660 given that he's got a 460?)
 
I have GTX 460 and a corsair 750 watt power supply. I play most games fine, but Skyrim really lags on my dual monitor setup. I am really keen to get a third monitor if I can get a larger desk as I would love to experience a total immersion. Probability of that though is really low. in Skyrm on a GTX 460 it is really slow in the high intensity zones.

Do you think the Graphics card is the bottleneck here though? Since I felt that my CPU and 6GB ram should have been enough.

The reason I was thinking 690 is that I heard its 2 in one and uses less power than two GPU's.
 
Save yourself some money. If you want just get 2x 660 and SLI should be good enough for what you want to do.
 
Ya im looking at the 690 like im looking at that saphire toxic edition 7970 and its way too much for the average gamer. The new 660ti i believe thats out today or tomorrow should be a great upgrade especicially if you O/C it.
 
well how much teenkering do you want to do to get a 670 to a 680 level ... and it is about a 10% to 3% diffrence from the 670 to the 680 gtx .... not worth the money unless you are wanting to do 2560x1600 or 2560x1440 resolution ... and multi screen set up :D
