hey,
so i got my W/C set up albeit not very high end, but considering i had a shuttle it just seemed easier to get the evercool wc-202 kit and decided to dismantle it a bit, put the pump+res under the drive bay and took out the extra rad which wasn't doing anything anyway in the tight confines of the shuttle. what i saw was that the pump was hooked up to a kind of molex to 3 pin modulator. my question is does anyone know if i need to continue using that or can i plug the pump directly onto empty fan motherboard pins? how many volts does the pump use and will it burn out the motherboard header if i plug it into it? aslo can you stretch 1/4" tubing over 3/8" barbs?
