Evercool WC-202 *HELP!*

My LCD reads "-L"

Everything is working, I'm getting good temps...but the LCD reads -L.

There is nothing in the manual about Troubleshooting, or anything to begin to show me where to look for the problem.

well....the US Distributor (Alpha & Omega Computer) is closed on weekends, and Evercool is in Taiwan...so i'm not calling them.

hopefully my email gets answered soon.

If you're using the temp probe, try unplugging it and reverse what pins it plugs into (i.e. turn the plug over and plug it in).

I would check the connections for the lcd by following the instructions here: http://www.evercool.com.tw/install/replace_wc_p1.htm

in case anyone else encounters this problem...here's my solution:

Press in the Set and Down buttons at the same time, it resets the LCD

that should fix it...it did mine

Ouch, Evercool doesn't have the best reputation.

I'm with the guy that said to reverse the plug.
