So I want to do some custom window etching... could I just use some sandpaper, or maybe a sanding attachment on a dremel, or a round file, or something, to etch a design into the lucite stuff from home depot? I know it would be hard to get an even finish, i just want to know if this would work at all....

tape off what you dont want smoked then take 1500 grt sand paper and just rub light. then what ever is smoked will glow your cold cathode color
