Error running 3dmark2001 SE

I was reading up on some OC, as once I put my new system components together I will tool around with it. I wanted to get scores on my computer before I upgrade. I got the error saying I don't have DirectX 8:

I ran dxdiag and it says that I have DirectX 9.0c. When I play Counterstrike: Source, it says that I have DirectX Hardware: 7.0 and my DirectX Software: 9.0. If the 3dmark is looking at my hardware DirectX, then I will need to upgrade it...but how? I have the very latest video card drivers (Geforce FX 5900 Ultra).
