Heya,
Installing a 5770 in an older 720 X3 system to get it up to simple gaming tasks. Installed the 11.9 drivers, and it said there had been an error. Checked the device manager, and the device (says ATI Radeon HD 5700 Series) has an error. The error is Code 52, which says:
"Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damages, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source."
So I uninstalled all the AMD software, uninstalled the drivers from the device manager, rebooted in safe mode, ran Driver Sweeper, restarted in regular mode, re-downloaded 11.9, and now I'm staring at the same exact situation.
Any ideas?
