Epox 8RGA Post Code Error

Hey guys,

The current hardware I'm trying to fix consists of this

Barton 2500+
Epox 8RGA (the mobo w/ onboard GPU)
Corsair 512mb
Creative SB Live

I am using the same BIOS that the board had when it arrived, when we bought it last July 2003.

I am trying to boot up the PC and I receive the "c3" error on the Motherboard.

I read in the manual that the error reads C3 - Expand Compressed Bios Codes to DRAM.

I have no idea what that means, but any solutions?

maybe bad ram?? try swapping the ram and see if the error goes away.

Yeah, I too have had problems trying to figure out what the codes mean on my Epox 8RDA3+. The meanings they give are so useless, it's worth it to just ignore them and try to figure out what the problem is on your own.
