Hey folks, power noobie here. Dont know a lot about electricity, Amps, Volts, etc.

Quick question: I know that the Corsair HX520 would be enough for a system with an 8800gt / Q6600, single HDD, optical, etc.

Assuming a Q6700 doesnt change anything, will it be enough for a higher end video card like a GTX, or something in the range of a 8800gts 512mb?

How about some forecasting: will it provide enough amps etc. for a $300 card late next year? ;)

Thank you!

I should say so. my specs are in my sig... Im upgrading to the newer 8800GTS and I have a Q6600... The Corsair VX550 and the 520 are probably comparable, the only real difference being that mine has a single 41A 12V rail.
