Enough power?

Will my HX520 run a GTX 470 or 480?

i7 920 OC 4GHz
6 HDD
2 DVDr

I have an OCZ 700w in another computer that I swap out, but I obviously kept the better quality one.

The HX520 is a quality single-rail desing PSU that can deliver 40A (480W) on the +12V output.
The GTX470 will need about 230W (at maximum), so, in my opinion, the Corsair HX520 can handle it.
On the other hand, the GTX480 will need a maximum of 315W, so you won't have too much room for the others components. Moreover, your PSU is not new, so some of its initial capacity of deliver its maximum wattage has decreased. Keeping in mind that the recommended wattage for running the GTX480 is 600W makes me think that your PSU will be in the very limit.
Which model is your 700W OCZ and how old it is?

According to this Anandtech article you should be able to squeek by, but I think it is pushing it.

in this article Kyle recommends 600-650W for the GTX470...and that is without 6 HDD's.

That's not the best PSU from OCZ... It should be enough to handle the GTX480, but I wouldn't play hard with this PSU: http://www.hardocp.com/article/2008/11/12/ocz_700w_modxstream_pro_power_supply/9
In my opinion, the best option would be buying a new PSU if you want to run the GTX480. However the GTX470 will work without any problem with both PSUs.
