Hey guys, havn't been posting here for a while, been very busy with work and etc.

Anywho my current PSU is about to die on me, so its a time to buy a new one :)

But since i got a generic case i think i would just get a brand new quality case with a PSU.

So i have decide on the Coolermaster RC-330. This case comes with a 350watt Coolermaster PSU i am not too sure which model PSU is it probably the older model PSU before the Extreme.

I was wondering will this 350watt PSU provide enough power for my system.

Specs are:

Intel P4 640 3.2ghz
Gigabyte 6600GT 128mb Turbo Force Edition PCI-E 560/1224
2x512mb DDR400 Geil
Gigabyte 8I915P Duo Pro
120GB Seagate Sata 7200.8

What i am worried that my P4 and the 6600GT will draw too much power and the PSU might not be enough. On the box of my video card it said recommend 350watt.

Thanks in advance

Cheers. :)

A 6600GT doesnt draw much power so thats not the main issue.
P4 processors are power hungry and may overload the 12V rail as you suspect.
Without any specs for the PSU its difficult to know if it can handle your kit.

With the PSU being a Coolermaster, that gives me a little more confidence but its a crap shoot without the specs.

is it possible to use it? Yes. Will it work? Yes. Do I recommend that? No.

Try something with a bit more juice. The Enhance ENS-5140 should do it for you. www.ewiz.com

Lolz sorry btw, i am living in Australia, so i doubt retailer here would stock the PSU you mentioned.

The ST50EF should have no problems with that system or any of your choosing. I *think* those prices are in AUD, which means it's about $95 USD, or not a bad deal; that's about what I see it for in the US.
