This isn't a computer question, but it is a "cooling" question. I bought an in-window air conditioner, and I know my roomates are gonna flip about the next electric bill, is there a way to calculate how much energy it's going to use or a simply way to measure it?

Where do you live?


if you live in the US, then it should have come with a big yellow tag that says Energy Star on it.


That tells you exactly how much a year it costs to run that unit on average.
