Does anyone know if my x800 pro (xt) will support hardware acceleration in WinDVD 6? I mean like so like my comp uses the vid card for its DVD decoding and stuff so there is no CPU utilization. Or if WinDVD 6 wont do it, the can you reccomend a program to play DVDs well?
 
It should be, even my ancient GeForce 2 MX support DVD decoding acceleration. My personal choice is PowerDVD tho.
 
yeah come on man very bad question can my $500 video card run dvds all by itself hmm I would say yes. :rolleyes:
