I never got an email confirmation. I did however email the admin and I guess I can post now.
I believe its the forum thats wrong because I still receiver emails from my gmail account.
 
Gmail accounts arent allowed. Pretty much only your ISP mail account is allowed to be used. Most allow you to forward anyways. I forward my ISP emails to my gmail acount.
 
You registered with your ISP email....that will get you a confirmation as soon as one of the Admins screens your registration. If you tried to register with a filtered email account, you will receive no confirmation.
 
amazingly enough, those of us [H]ard enough to have our own domain names can use those as well...the really nice thing about having a domain and hosting is the ability to setup email accounts for anything. (seperate school/forum/ordering/etc accounts is a good thing for the organized packrats. Outlook even moves each message into a folder setup for each account so I know when I get a reply message from a forum for example.)
