EM3 works perfectly for monitoring two of my boxes, but shows no progress for my server box (server is on a separate subnet, with dmz pinholes for ports 137-139 and 445 open).
Shows the work unit, even seems to have the right time per frame, but doesnt show how many frames are done, etc.
I've already done a quick search, but couldnt find anyone with this same problem.

Any ideas why its not showing WU progress?

Sound like you have orphan files.
Sometimes after a system crash, early end, etc, etc, folding does not delete all the temp files it uses.
These leftover files confuse EMIII into not knowing which protien you are exactly folding.

Look in you work folder.
All the files should have the same number to them as the log file.
......[12:03:29] Working on Unit 05 [May 1 12:03:29]..... <- in this case "05" .
for example wudata_05.xyz, wuinfo_05.dat, etc, etc.

Any wrong numbers can be deleted (after backup to be safe).
Or just let folding do enough extra protien to overwrite the files.

Luck............. :D

Ive had the same issue for a while, and after a few extensive threads (with no fix) , gave up.
Its not just you.

Same here. All the fold server nodes will read, just not fold server itself.

Fold server? huh? Its not a fold server. Just file/web/ftp/teamspeak (gonna set up a mail server and whatever else i can come up with soon). Fold server will be a project for when I get a few more crappers.
