EM3 Misreporting Frames completed....

Howdy all.

I've recently noticed that EM3 is misreporting the frames completed, but only for 1 of my borgs, which is a Pentium 3 866Mhz. No matter what, no matter how many frames are completed, it only shows 30/100 frames (see pic below - it's the last borg). The green % bar moves okay, from 0 to 100 accordingly, but the frames, no matter what, are stuck at 30/100. Do I need a reinstall? If so, is there any way to save my "profile" so I don't have to go hunting for all 7 .exes again?

Not really that big of a deal, but it'd be nice to get it fixed.

Have you downloaded the newest protein definition file from the EMIII website? It might just be that EMIII doesn't know that wu and can't read the files for it.

 
You might also check under the work folder on the borg in question and make sure that all the files are the same number such as wudata_09.etc, if you have any numbers that are out of sort, LPerry has normally recommended getting rid of those.

 
Yes, I've downloaded the latest definition file. It's already worked through 2-3 WUs like this.

I'll check the work folder and make sure its OK there...

You have one or two orphan files in the work folder.

Sometimes FAH leaves an old file in the work folder which EMIII thinks is from the current work unit.
Because this never changes, EMIII never updates the work unit.
This is what you are seeing.

Either let it do a full cycle of ten work units, then the old file will get over-writen.
Or close FAH downon that boxen, open the work folder & find the orphan file.
Once its deleated the EMII will switch to the newest files when FAH restarts.
