Electron Microscope v3.1.5 (update)

QMD Core tracking fixed

QMD tracking seems to be working. It works for me, but testing by everyone else will be the final proof. Please let me know if you have a problem with the QMD core. If you do, please make sure you include information on which FAH client version, what your OS is, and the protein name or project number.

Thanks very much to those of you who have donated a couple of $$$ to the EM-DC.COM web site. I really appreciate the help. The raffle drawing will occur on May 1. Good Luck to everyone!

Enjoy! :D

Keep on Folding!!

The file has... just not the page that says when.. :D

Keep on Folding!!

Thanks Weatherman, your proggie beats the crap outta logging into each boxen to check things out :) Still having trouble monitoring my Debian boxen, but I'll figure that out sometime I'm sure.

I have a QMD Core folding right now on a P4 3.2ghz, 1.5gb ram, winxp pro. EM3 reports over 30 days to complete this WU. Does that sound right? Seems like an awful long time... 450 pointer p1912_ALA_dipeptide_umb2 start date of 4/20, end date of 5/24. Its my machine at work so 7-8 hours a day I use it to help monitor the network but nothing overly intensive. I wonder if setting the performance preference to background programs would give it a boost?

Snagged the latest version from the weatherman yesterday, Thanx LP, as always, great work on EM!

what's your rig specs? Even an old P4 should not be that slow.

Do you have the most recent version of EMIII?

The older version would say something like "1233 of 2103" in the Frames bar... Each frame was taking something like 25 min on my P4 2.66 here at work, but it was multiplying that 25 min by 2103-1233.... which gave some massive number... But the next frame would be something like 1347 of 2103, so there would be a huge drop in est. completion time...

With the newest version, it works just like every other protien now... I haven't had any problems with the latest....

Lperry... Just entered your giveaway contest.....I'd forgotten about it!!

Thanks to everyone who's entered the raffle... ;)
I can't wait to pull the name out of the hat on May 1st and give away the Dual stuff.... :D

No reports of problems with the QMD core from anyone that installed the latest version.
One person had downloaded just before I posted the new version and didn't realize it until they actually checked to see what version they were running. Hover the mouse over the microscope icon in the tray... version will show up.

I know this might be more of a problem to do then the final outcome...

but in the future would it be possible to have a feature to allow EM3 to
log in to the computers on your network (if they were password protected)
vs every time you restart EM3 having to go to the config settings and log
into each computer? Just wondering...

Great work man!

If you check the box that says save password, when you initally log in to the other machine, that should fix it.

Eeew. Runon sentence.

xp -> w2k. doesnt allow that option for some reason *shrugs*

just has login and password, no other options
