• Some users have recently had their accounts hijacked. It seems that the now defunct EVGA forums might have compromised your password there and seems many are using the same PW here. We would suggest you UPDATE YOUR PASSWORD and TURN ON 2FA for your account here to further secure it. None of the compromised accounts had 2FA turned on.
Once you have enabled 2FA, your account will be updated soon to show a badge, letting other members know that you use 2FA to protect your account. This should be beneficial for everyone that uses FSFT.

I ask this entirely out of curiosity, and not only support but cheer the right of admins to run a site however they see fit, but is the flame baiting problem caused by having edit capabilities on posts that bad, where no forum members can be trusted at all? My grammar, spelling and occasionally even logic are bad enough that I'd appreciate at least a few minutes to correct errors, and what I've read so would other users. Yes I do think before hitting the post button, sometimes I think a little more after hitting it. :)

Post in sections other than the front page news and you'll have your edit functionality.

Thanks, I thought the edit limitation was forum-wide. I'll read more and post less. :)

I read the FAQ and didn't see it mentioned other than title editing privileges.

We had lots of issues we people in the News forum going back and changing posts that were blatantly breaking the rules, so there is no option to edit in that forum.
