Easy case to mod...suggestions?

I'm looking to get a case...does not have to be fancy, just easy to mod. I don't want to spend a lot on it (less than $50 shipped)

I'll be painting, cutting, drilling, etc. to it, so i dont really care what color it is

Any help would be nice.
