A pair of these just arrived.
Low noise four full size DisplayPorts (eyefinity) can do 950/1450 at stock voltage with fan on auto max temps 70c (gaming)

Grats. I was looking at a bare pic of the Rampage Extreme and surprised these 2 fit really snug side by side.

Nice, do you get much micro-stuttering when running them x-fire in games? I'm currently using just one of these cards, but I might x-fire two of them when the price goes down and/or when I pick up a x-fire compatible MB. My only complaint is the card doesn't have five DP if I ever wanted to go to 5x1 portrait eyefinity, but at least it doesn't tear on three monitors unlike almost every other 6950 or 6970.

I had three 6950 sapphire flashed to 6970 and now with two 6970 i dont see stuttering.
Although a lot of people talk about micro-stuttering I always say that if you can keep your framerates over 60fps you can eliminate this.

Microstutter is only noticeable to certain people. I haven't experience any from my previous crossfire 5770 setup.

Cool looking/performing card - though the extra girth makes it a little less appetizing. Waiting on the MSI R6970 Lightning myself.

Grats to you OP, it must be insanely fast.

I thought that DP in general can't enforce Vsync limits, and that's why it tears. So is the real problem when you mix and match different outputs like DVI with DP? It's the theory I'm interesting in knowing, and appreciate your responses.

Just put 3 DP cables on my first card (eyefinity 5760x1080) and tearing gone. :D

From my experience and what I've seen others it seems to be entirely a cable issue, don't mix cables which means you need 3 dp cables to do eyefinity. I don't have the monitors to test it for 5x1, but it would be interesting to know if the dvi connected one would tear. I'm using three dp cables and there is no tearing in landscape or portrait eyefinity.

Even if micro stuttering is only noticeable by 5% of users, its a pretty crippling issue if it happens to you. When people who notice it claim the game is smoother on one card then in a crossfire setup, you know its a bad issue.
