E8500 e0 stepping question. Help!

E8500 e0 stepping. Are there any significant benefit of having e0 stepping than c0?
My e8500 just got delivered to me today, and unfortunately, it is not e0 (got it from zipzoomfly). I plan on overclock somewhat, nothing extreme. My electricity in the apartment is free.

So my question is, is it worth the while to return the c0 stepping E8500 and try to get an
e0 stepping e8500 instead?

For top level OCing perhaps, but most people have been satsfied by their C0 steppings as is.
 
so i be performing the same as e0stepping cpus in games/applications. The noticable difference is when i oc the two?
 
the E0 chips should have more room to OC if you have the cooling for it. But it doesnt sound like thats what you are doing. You're fine with the C0.
 
theres a shitload of difference. you may shave a couple hundredths of a second off your super pi time. you may run 2 degrees cooler at load, none at idle. you may save 3 or 4 dollars per year in electric bills.
