My brother accidentally ordered 2 E6750's when he meant to order 1 so he gave me the extra. I told him that trying to OC the chip was a waste of time because it came with a 1333 bus so there wouldn't be much legroom. I was quite wrong. At stock volts the CPU does 3.6 GHz no problem whatsoever and with a little more juice it did 3.8 GHz. I wanted to see 4 GHz but it wasn't going to happen, not sure if it's my mobo, I know asking for a 2000 MHz bus out of my 680i is a bit much.

Just thought I'd share the results for those thinking about an E6750

Next time tell him to order 3 one for me:D

Yeah, I don't know if I prefer my quad core at 3Ghz or this dual core at 3.8GHz. I think I remember reading somewhere that Crysis is dual-threaded in spite of promises to the contrary.
