I can reach 3.0ghz stable but anything higher fails pretty quick.
Cpu temps are low due to a freezer 7 pro but northbridge is very hot to touch.
I think the issue is probably the passively cooled northbridge, so I put a 40mm fan on it but this hasn't helped.
Just wondering if anybody had any ideas or if I should just leave it as it is.
I can play Crysis with everything on high @ 1920x1200 and get about 12.5K on 3dmark06 so maybe its not worth investing in a better cooler as of yet.
I still feel I have some headroom to overclock on the 8800 with a zalman cooler if I need, but I'm scared of frying it!
