E6600/6700 worthwhile?

I'm running a 3.4Ghz 550 Prescott, 2gb of Kingston DDR2-533 RAM, and a BFG 7800GTX OC.

Am I going to see a noticable difference with a Conroe as opposed to my current P4? I'm thinking ahead for gaming during the winter season, and Crysis (among other games) worries me with my current rig.
