I am running an e6400 at 3.04GHz on a DS3. I'm trying to cool it as quietly as possible without it being damaged. At the moment I am getting load temps of 49C on speedfan and 59C on coretemp. The CPU is being cooled by a passive Scythe Ninja (with a 120m exaust fan right behind it). Now I'd like to get this sytem even quieter by 7v - ing the intake and exahust fans but im worried that the cpu will get too hot. The max safe temp for c2duos is 60C right? So do i look at speedfan and see i have 11C leeway or Coretmep and see i am almost at the limit?

PLEASE READ one of the million other threads on Core 2 temps... or CoreTemp vs Speedfan.....
