E6400 & DS3 Overclock

Info:
E6400 w/ gigabyte ds3 mobo and F4C bios (also tried F4E with same results)
2gb gskill F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ


ram voltage = 2.1
cpu voltage = default
set the timngs to 4-4-4-12
i was able to get fsb to 330 @ 8X before i started getting errors in prime95

tried upping the voltage to 1.4V to hopefully successfully prime at 335fsb with no luck.

im not all that good of a overclocker but have i hit the wall?


side note(i see lots of threads about c2d temps so......): this cpu with my ninja and as5 oc to 2.64ghz has me idling 30-31C with torture test bringing it up to 44-45C.

I have my E6400 on my P5WDH is running at 3.2ghz (400x8) but the dumb thing is, I couldn't get it to boot over 357 without disabling manual RAM timings so I set it to auto and it boots fine.. but my latencies are horrible, supposed to be 4-4-4-12 @ 800mhz but it put them as 5-6-6-18. Also runs a tad hot, maybe was just a sucky AS5 apply but getting about 50c idle and 60-62 load with a Zalman 9500LED Perfectly stable though.

are you using ram dividers?
im at 1:1, not sure if changing it will help, that is one thing i guess i havnt tried
