A buddy of mine has a Dell e171fp that is on the fritz.
Intermittently is has blue lines that go vertically on it so close together you can barely read text through them.
He even tried unplugging the cable from the PC and the self test box had lines through it as well, thus eliminating the video card as suspect.
It just happened again, he is taking a pic to send to me. I'll post it in a minute.
