I picked up another M1015 on ebay a few weeks ago and flashed to IT firmware. Worked fine. A couple of days ago, the host was complaining about missing disks. I looked in the logs and saw messages like "mptsas bad flash signature!". I'm wondering if it's worth trying to re-flash it? Or is this most likely on the way out?

The flash does read/erase/write/verify cycles so it shouldn't have given you a passing flash if it didn't write properly. You can try again just in case, but I would pull the card.

Put it back up on eBay as non-working/for-parts.. I have seen some sell for $10-15 to people who figure they can resurrect it with a new flash.

that's a thought, thanks. if they pay $10 for shipping (using usps flat-rate box), costs me nothing.

Actually, the parts ones I have seen were 10-15 Plus shipping (usually 5, either USPS 1st class or PM)
