DVI splitting Eyefinity

So I recently build myself an Obutto racing cockpit. Originally I was intending to use it for everything but that turned out to be a total pain in the ass for everything but racing games and I quickly went back to my desk. Anyway, now I'm in the position of having already spent 1200 bucks on this thing and it doesn't have screens. Building another computer isn't in the budget so I want to somehow split or switch between two different sets of monitors without haveing to unplug anything.

Div splitter lead me to this on Amazon but a lot of the reviews basically said it didn't work. One dude who seemed to know what he was talking about said to get a powered DVI 1x2 splitter from monoprice but all I could find were labeled as passive and were for things like dvi to split HDMI(that could also work porobably).

Anyway I'm kind of at a loss here. Right now I am running 3 ASUS VH242H and I would like to run another 3 ASUS VE258Q's. Will I be able to split a signal to two different sets of monitors or should I get another 3 of what I already have? They don't have to be in use at the same time either so if there is some type of physical switch box that's an option as well.

Any help or input would be much appreciated, I'm kind of at a loss here.

Are you looking to duplicate the image?

or split it as in the first 3 show one thing and the other 3 show another?

I have a 2 port HDMI splitter. I dont remember how much I bought it for. I can sell it to you. PM me if you would like.

I used it to duplicate GT5 on 2 LCDs so a buddy and I could race with steering wheels.

Appreciate it but I'm going to pass. I need 3 of whatever I get anyway.

Anyone else have any ideas? I don't want to buy a bunch of stuff only to find it doesn't work how I want it to.

It might be possible to use a card with 6 outputs, create two 3x1 display groups and clone them.

If I had a card with 6 outputs I wouldn't need to split switch or clone anything.
