DVI no signal?

So apparently DVI decided not to work anymore.

It is displaying the BIOS and Windows booting. After after the windows boot screen my monitor turns black, and it says "No Signal".

What is going on here?

EDIT: I am using ATI X800XL if that helps.
 
I'm using 19" Norwood Micro.

I just realized something. The cable is a male DVI-D, where as the video card has a female DVI-I. Would that be why it's not working?
 
I had a similar problem with a different monitor (sceptre 20" Naga) with an ATI X800 GTO. My monitor came with a flimsy DVI cable. I had a spare DVI cable from monoprice which was thicker and more robust. I plugged it in and my 'no signal' problem went away.

Try another cable and see if it solves your problem.
