I have a Liteon 8x dvd+-rw and it's been acting kind of funny. It is able to read a NON CD-r or CD-rw cd. if i stick an immage cd or a data cd, the drive will try to read and unless I kind of shake it a little it'll freeze or not read the disk and make these weird scratching noises. Im guessing that the drive isn't reading the cd correcly because maybe the cd drive laser isn't matching up with the Cd's. But im not 100% sure since it does read non rw cds? ANyone can help me out? the dvdrw also is able to read blank dvdrw disk.. so it's really a weird problem.
