Right now, I have a set of JVC headphonesm they were $20 on the rack at Best Buy. They've been OK, but I'm looking for something better. However, I need some headphones that won't crack like an egg when thrown in the LAN party bag, and they also must be cat resistant. I'm not big into TeamSpeak or the like, so headset is not a requirement, but headsets won't be dismissed either. Any thoughts?

I can only imagine what a cat would do to a headphone............ I guess im lucky my cat does'nt take an interest in mine.

IF they're GOOD ones, I'd be willing to spend $60-80. Those Sennheiser's look good, although ironically enough, in one of the Newegg reviews for the HD-201, someone else has the exact same concern:

Isn't that bizarre? My cats are nice to my gear for the most part, mainly because I've left enough catnip on the floor in one spot in another room that they go destroy that instead. Thanks for any more input, and that pic is great Jodiuh!
 
in the case of durability, i present you the audio 90 from plantronics best 20 bucks i spent on pair of headphones when they were on sale its averages around 30 bucks at best buy or circuit city but they are very durable and have lasted me for over 2 years now. From all the beatings and thrashes i gave it from dying in cs its still going strong and the audio is perfect for cs:s if your an audiophile then well it gets the job done its not gonna be sex to your ears but it works granted the price its excellent.
