Ok so maybe this is a dumb question, maybe not.

Does HyperThreading work on Win2k? all the references ive seen on it refer to WindowsXP.

Ive been considering grabbing a 3.06ghz p4 for the rig in my sig mainly for the HT

Yes Hyperthreading will work on Windows 2000. It doesn't work as well as in Windows XP though. Windows does support multiple processors and Hyperthreading emulates a second processor.

Win2k pro sees it as a physical processor thus maxing out the requirements (2cpu's)- winXP see's it as a logical processor leaving room for one more physical processor.
