i have two monitors a 17" and my pride and joy 21". i wanted to use them both so i can watch a movie on one and do other things in the internet on the other. will installing a 2nd video card enable me to do this or will it be a waste of money and not work? if it will work do i have to change any settings? thanks for any help.
 
If you have a dual head video card you can run the dual display off that one. If not, get a pci video card from the same same chip manufacturer, ati or nvida.
 
yea, either 2 ati or 2 nvidia, clashing drivers for video is not nice
