Dual LCDs with different resolutions?

I have a 24" H-IPS HP LP2475 1920x1200 right now. I want to add another display. It seems everything is widescreen now? I can't even find a matching monitor.

So I was thinking on getting a 23" 1080P LCD.

Is running different resolutions screw things up for gaming?

What should I do? Budget is $200 or less.
