What would a Dual Intel 2.8 compare with AMD? And how hot are the dual chips from Intel now?
 
want to clarify? do you mean the Pentium D 820? and how "hot" can mean a lot of things..let's go with: the stock cooler can keep it going

 
My PD 830 is a power house, and does run very warm. The OEM cooler is adequate..you can rig a better fan on it as well.
