Dual Display programs

With dual screens, is there a program that allows me to do this:

Play CS/or other game on one screen, and with a click of a button (F9, or some designated key) the mouse is centered on the other screen. So if I die or the round isn't over, I can go back to my other screen and talk on AIM, surf the forums, etc. without minimizing.

Or how do you dual screen people play video games? Do you use both or what?

My intention was to get a 26+ in lcd/tv, but I realized my college desk wasn't sufficient to hold it. So I'd figure I'd go with either a 2005/2405 fpw and a cheap ass 19in lcd.

This setup will be mainly for my anime vs. AIM, CS vs. AIM, and Microsoft Office vs. Firefox (I assume you guys would know what I'm talking about with the vs's)

I just setup dual screens and i want to do exactly what this guy is saying. Play CS on one screen and talk and listen to music on the other screen without having to minimize CS

No, you have to play CS (or any game) in window mode to do this..

...unless you ALT TAB out of a full screened game (remember to ESC to menu in BF2 first, avoids lockups)

AlT+TAb has the same effect as window mode. and if you are going to alt tab a lot might as well play in window mode...

Thanks for the info. Thats what i thought. Bummer. I wish they would setup dual display's to do that. It would be the ultimate in multi tasking.

same effect, but different results.
Alt+Tab will minimize a full screened game and return you to desktop
Windowed mode the game is still viewable

Windowed mode will run at a lower FPS rate than full screen

who wants to minimize a game to look up info?

Thats my point.

true, but not much on my system it's like (5 to 10 FPS), and I can still access web info as I am playing...
