on both cores (set by affinity)
how many people can get super Pi to run 32M and not give them an error?
it could be just me, but it would seem that my 6300, can't even do it when its default values....

Make separate folders for each SuperPi, then set affinity. What happens is that the pi_rec.dat2 overwrites itself with each core's data, thus causing the errors.

ah, I noticed this too--even at stock values...so you run each one from a different folder huh? cool. I prefer orthos anyway...

Yeah, I realized that after a few frustrating hours and a little forum searching (then again, I never ran that test at stock values, so I always thought one core just wasn't very good).

I've never heard of Orthos, I'll have to give it a look.

[Edit]
I just checked it out and it's pretty cool. I've run SP2004 before, but that too had to always have two separate folders (one for each core). Orthos makes things a whole lot easier! Thanks!!
