I just got a new 4600x2 CPU and It only reads that its using 50 percent of each core?
How can I get it to use more of each core ?

That is perfect. It will never show 100%, as the two 50%'s = 100% of TOTAL CPU usuage

Don't worry about a thing :D

Welcome to the Horde

Do you have 2 instances installed with total CPU usage @ 100%?

Yea, always get confusing on the dual this/that/other thing 50% doo-hicky. Get really messy on 4/8 way systems, 13% I think on a 8 way

I'm running only one instance of folding at home, but I just got it to peak at 65 by setting the priority real time in the task manager for the core 87.exe. and maxing the draw rate for the stupid ball and stick thing.

You'll need to run 2 instances to get it to max at 100% on both CPUs. Generally, I go by task manager, if there are 2 graphs, run two instances, 4 graphs, run 4 and so on.

It won't allow me to run two. Do I have to run the non graphical ver, as the second to make it work that way?

dont use the graphical client...it is nothing but problems...go with the console version and download em3 from http://em-dc.com and you will be set.

1. Uninstall the Graphical Client.

2. Check to verify that it is removed from being an active service
(Start - Settings - Control Panel - Admin Tools - Services)

3. Download and use unhappy_mages easy F@H installer:
http://userpages.umbc.edu/~willm1/setup-fold/

4. Run once, changing the username if you desire.

5. Run again, name change, then on the second page, look for "Machine ID" set this to 2

6. Get EM3 as mentioned to monitor the clients if you wish.

7. Get points, Fold [H]ard, Save [H]umanity.

Well from the post it sounded like there was 2.

graphical always messes with everything :)
