Dual Boot 2 Windows XP Pro instances?

Hi All,
Is having TWO instances of Windows XP Pro SP2 possible? The reason I want to do this is because my current Win XP Pro SP2 seems "slow" (due to a Spyware? I have tried all sorts of software and anti-virus with no luck) and have lots of info that I can't back up yet...As a result I need to have a "fresh-install" of another Windows XP Pro SP2, so I can do my browsing and other tasks...

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

yes, just install it on a new parition and youll be gold.

if you dont have a seperate part, do it on a diffrent disk, but do not put them on the same partition, this can royally fuck your first install, all the program files and stuff get mixed.. its not pretty...
