dsl all ghetto

K all, my connection is cursed or something. I got that verizon dsl shindigg and there was a time when it was working nice and fast and all instant and crap, but that time is now ended. My browser( i.e , fire fox ) is so slow I feel like I'm tying up the phone line wit ha 28k modem or something, it takes almost a minute, OR MORE! to load just one page. Anyone know what's going on? My games are fine and crap, and I just did a fresh copy of windows xp too. I believe my browser is crapped up and don't know why, and in games I get around 20-100 ping depending on how good or bad the server is. Anyone got any ideas, I feel ashamed just browsing the internet or posting in the forums.
