So I had a leak and water went into the holes on a modoular psu where cables normaly go.

so it is difficult to dry it wit paper obviously as the holes are inside psu.

Can I wait 1-2days for it to dry or do I need longer?

Also does a hair dryer help, I think it can cause ESD?

Yes blowing air across metal surfaces CAN cause static buildup..not sure if that would have an effect on a PSU if you left the switch off and still plugged into a power outlet though...or even if doing that would be a good idea, lol.

If you can wait a couple days then you should be good to go. Shake/dry as much water off as you can and then just let it sit somewhere. Worst case scenario, i'd imagine, is if its still wet when you turn it on, it will pop a breaker..id imagine...
