Drivers Not Installing...What the Deuce?

Odd problem...

Running WinXPx64.

Drivers From Nvidia's Site Installed just fine.
Drivers From Guru3D (77.72 Modified) Installed just fine.

But, when I went to go download 77.76's off Guru3d for the x64 the extractor said "valid file, but it is meant for a different computer than yours"
For kicks, I decided to download to 32 bit versions of the same drivers and those decided to extract just fine.

Sig in Rig. Problem on my side, or is the installer just being unfriendly?
 
I am having a similar issue too with Windows 64. I am installing my video drivers from ATI, and they're the 64bit drivers for my ATi X800XL. Now when I install the drivers my goes on and off a few times, then it goes blank. Total lock up. I reboot, and I can't even get the Windows Logo, and bars to go by. I try safe mode, and it stops there even before I see it load NTSOKRNL crap. I have to re format it and re install windows for this to work. That is until I install drivers. My only chance now is to install the drivers from the CD, whether they have the 64 bit drivers on it or not is the question.
