Since my drill was too weak to use a holesaw and I don't have the cash to upgrade, I decided to cut a blowhole with my new dremel. The manual says that the batteries are fully charged in three hours. Last night, I let it charge up for three hours, give or take a few minutes. I go outside and begin to cut my blowhole. I manage to make an X in the case and go through the paint, and make about a half inch long slit in the case when my batteries die. I had only used it for about thirty minutes. Is it normal for the batteries to die so quickly?

it doesnt sound right.

go out and buy a corded one.

(if you want) i like mine a lot. it has a lot of power and it will never die cuz no batteries

Was that the first charge you've given it? I know my 18v cordless drill said to let it charge for 24 hrs straight for the initial charge, and 4 hrs for any charging thereafter.
