There is a PC with Dragon Naturally Speaking v.8 installed on it, and a new laptop just came in so I need to install v9 on the laptop, and try to copy the speech data (how the program has learned to recognize the user's voice) from the old pc onto the new one. Does anyone know how to do this?

thanks!

You might be able to just copy the program's 'Application Data' folder from your current PC to the new laptop.

Assuming this is for windows XP, Application Data is a hidden folder in
C:\Documents and Settings\<account>\Application Data\<name of program>

vista is similar, but instead of 'Application Data' it is called 'Users'
