Double click = access denied. Right click open = access granted

So I can't figure this out yet, theres a windows 2003 server and clients have network drives mapped to different directories. If they double-click the network drive, access denied, if they right click open or explore, its fine. Permissions are set properly. any ideas to try?

The only thing I can think of is the default action for double-clicking isn't set properly. Make sure double-click's default action "open" or "explore".
