I have a dell Inspiron 6000 that came with 2x 256 ddr2 400 ram with 3 3 3 8 timimgs.
I just recently bought 2x 1gb ddr2 533 ram with 4 4 4 8 timings.
My question is, how much do timings matter for the dothan core? should i have bought ram with 3 3 3 8 timings instead, or will the clock speed increase for the ram be enough to be better than my old ram?
