got my Dothan Sonoma 760 today and began mod'n it, well at least an insert to help the HSF (Zalman 9500) IE heavy, sit properly on this OPEN processor. High side temps should be no more then 55c. So I started thinking and looking around what I could use. After doing the research the processor is .82mm above silicon. So a 1mm shim would work great. I found a 1.5-2m thicker rubber that I don't think I'm going to use as it is too thick! So I found a gladware container, exactly 1mm thick and semi plyable plastic. Capable of handling 55c easily, think microwaveable, boiling water, etc... Pictures below.
